All you want for England/Scotland border Jul 16, 2010
Yes, a whole lot of 5* and well deserved as well. We took all rooms at this Guest House for the nights before and after my daughter's wedding nearby - just in Scotland. It simply could not have been better. They allowed my middle son and family to erect a huge tent in their garden and to come in for meals with the rest of us for a very low price.

The bedrooms are very large and comfortable with plentiful storage facilities. The full breakfast was large and delicious and there were vegetarian choices.

The situation just north of Berwick-upon-Tweed is great for visiting the coast of south-east Scotland and that of north-east England, both being uncrowded but beautiful.

Meadow Hill Guest House Overview

Meadow Hill Guest House is a charming traditional bed breakfast with a Visit Britain 4 Star Rating. Meadow Hill Guest House is located 150 yards from the A1 on the outskirts of Berwick Upon Tweed. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and provides an excellent base when visiting Berwick, exploring Northumberland or as stop enroute to Scotland. A day out exploring the Secret Kingdom - perhaps enjoying packed lunches on the top of Cheviot or having a cosy, home-cooked lunch in a fascinating pub in Seahouses - exploring Cragside, the first house in the world to have electricity - or having a round of golf on the local 18-hole Goswick links course.
