Möðrudalsleið, Mödrudalur, Iceland
Mödrudalur - Campsite in the Wilderness Jul 07, 2008
Mödrudalur is a small village on the F907 road in the highlands of Iceland.
the small campsite there is one the best places to stay and run by an enthusiastic young couple.
The site itself is fairly well located and the ground dry and soft.
The facilities are good ... cabins to cook in and bbq places set up to enjoy the Icelandic summer.
Toilets and hot showers are provided.
The site also has a small shop in the cafe come gift store.
Coffee is always on tap and try some of the delicious icelandic pastries made daily.
Prices are good and very reasonable.
We were so impressed that we stopped there two times for a couple of nights to enjoy the fantastic scenery and peace that surrounds the site.
