Por si fueran pocas las sorpresas que Malta aguarda al viajero, estan Mdina y Rabat. Sobre todo Mdina, por lo recoleta, lo limpia, la piedra tan bella con la que esta hecha. Da gusto recorrer sus calles. Todo en ella es digno de admirar. Me recordo mucho a Toledo, en España,. sus calles estrechas, sus sombras. Vale la pena.

Mdina is the old capital of Malta.
The Arabs divided the Roman town of Melita in two parts: the citadel they named Mdina ( The Town) and the rest of the old settlement they named Rabat ( The Suburb) names by which they are still known.… Mdina |

Now I know it all happened on the same day but Mdina was so special it deserves its own entry.
Mdina, 'the silent city', Is the old capital of Malta. It sits on top of one of the Islands highest points and is one of the furthest points inland.
