Mazaar Restaurant Windsor Reviews
Nice Lebanese food in Windsor Mar 29, 2012
I was back in Windsor for a very short stay, not more than two hours and I was feeling like lunch. Ouellette Avenue is the main street for small lunch restaurants and I had tried a couple of them last year but this day I felt like Lebanese kitchen after I had passed the Mazaar restaurant on the way in to the city center.
Mazaar was a quite large place even though it didn’t look like that from outside. The inside was quite dark or actually almost too dark. The tables were dark and so were the chairs; in the back to where you almost could not see anything there was a huge bar.
I looked in the menu and I ordered some garlic shrimps as a starter and followed up with grilled meat and chicken with rice. The food was quite good and I really enjoyed the meat that almost was melting in my mouth.
The service had been really friendly during my whole meal and I was quite surprises but I had not expected that the food would be so good..
