AKA Museum of Art. The building was founded by Izrael Poznański for his son Maurycy and his wife Sara (maiden name-Silberstein). It was built in 1896 by unknown architect. The architectural style of this elegant property is evocative of Italian Renaissance. A regular wall structure, pillars between the windows, rusticated corners, oriels, balconies, balustrades, elaborate ornaments and beautiful stained-glass windows guarantee a fabulous experience (sorry but I do not have photos, jet). The museum takes pride in its unique collection of avant-garde art, works by contemporary Polish and foreign artists. The exhibits include paintings, sculptures and art installations created by world - renowned artists.
