Maui bus Reviews
An easy way to get around Maui Apr 22, 2013
If you are in Maui and do not plan on renting a car, worry not. The bus is here!
The bus system in Maui is extremely efficient and covers most of what you would want to visit as a tourist.
Of course there are plenty of routes that it does not cover and you would need to either hike or bike to, but for the most part it will take you through the island.
The bus charges $2 for a trip, but you can get an all day pass for $4 and use it on any route, any number of times throughout the day.
The website provides details of the routes and any updates for passengers.
If you have a smartphone and unlimited data, google maps provides transit directions for the bus on Maui. Otherwise, just print out the route maps and schedules from the website :)
The bus provides convenient routes from the Queen Ka'ahumanu center that stops in Ma'alea and Lahaina and then goes all the way over to Ka'anapali.
Right there is one full day of fun activities along the way!
