Maui Ocean Club Resort Lahaina

Located in Lahaina in the Ka'anapali area, the Marriott Ocean club is a great choice for a stay in Maui. There seem to be a couple of distinct grades of rooms/apartments at this location, but it being a time-share heavy share of rooms it's hard to tell if you'll be getting a room in one of the newer bungalows or older apartments (such as us).

The views are spectacular, the ocean comes right up to the property, and the bed comfort is unparalleled! =)

Annoying bits: the parking structures are pretty far away from the rooms, not to mention it is one of the most frustrating lots to navigate.

There are pool shacks located around the properties' multiple swimming areas and activities concierges located indoors and out.

The rooms are also fully stocked with items from dishes, cutlery, can openers and toiletries. Nicely located along the row of other hotels, it's easy to find and really close to the famous Front Street - where most of the famous restaurants and a large strip of shopping is found.

great location, but it's a timeshare so your unit will have different grades of luxury. Try to ask and see if you have a renovated room - the best rooms have a kitchen. Very comfortable and convenient regardless.
