REASONABLE SNORKELING DEALS Sep 24, 2008
i would recommend this company. they would have "buy one get on free" specials. the staff is helpful and knowledgeable. garth and mike were very funny and knowledgeable. mike would snorkel with the girls. i stayed on the boat with the captain, garth. the girls enjoyed the snokeling. they saw plenty of fishes and turtles. it was a very good experience.
We took the:
3 Hour Molokini and Turtle Town Snorkel
Each day, we offer a 3-hour snorkeling trip to both Molokini and Turtle Town departing from the Kihei boat ramp at 7:00.
All trips include use of our dry snorkel sets and wetsuit tops or floatation devices. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary.
Molokini is a marine reserve with spectacular water clarity and a pristine coral reef. Rated one of the best snorkeling spots in the world this reef has a variety of beautiful reef fish and animals. More than 400 varieties of fish are found in Hawaiian waters and more than 33% of these are endemic, they are found only here in Hawaii.
Occasionally we see dolphins, whales, manta rays and Hawaiian monk seals. Turtle Town offers a reef formed on lava that flowed from Haleakala centuries ago. The caverns and ledges in the lava as well as the lava fingers nearing the surface create the perfect habitat for sponges, corals, octopus, fish, eels, and shrimp. The highlight of this reef is the number of Green Sea Turtles that gather here to be "cleaned" by a fish known as the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse. The Green Sea Turtles are an endangered species and must not be touched or harassed. They are very curious animals and often allow snorkelers a good look from just a few feet away.
Kai Anela is our 32' Snorkel Boat that takes up to 24 snorkelers out of Kihei Boat Ramp. It'sMaui Snorkel Trips our V-Hull, twin-engine, jet driven vessel providing comfortable seating and amenities for a quick, safe, convenient ride to each location. Each boat is equipped with a marine head (bathroom), fresh water shower, padded seating, refreshments, and all necessary safety equipment. Minimum age is 4.
Knowledgeable crewmembers will provide onboard briefing to familiarize you with the boat, our equipment, and the spectacular marine life.
