A pleasant place Jun 26, 2008
Matoula Apartments in Acharavi are a good choice if you want a budget holiday in the sun. Not a great location for much exploring.. not alot to see, but nice all the same. the beach a good 20mins walk away.
I travelled with a couple of friends and we wanted a cheap week of sun and relaxation after busy times at work. The rooms were nice and clean, basic self catering accomodation, no room service or 24 hour reception.. The pool was right in the middle of the appartments and very well maintained. we travelled in june 07 and it was vvv Hot.. As the Air Conditioning was not working we were glad it cooled down in the evening! Plenty places to eat round about and the food in the restaurants was lovely, all local and good value for money. I would recommend it for just a sun break but not much to do or see.
