First and foremost as i was stranded in the jungle with no electricity, phones or a computer i missed Mothers Day so a Big HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to all the mums but sadly there can only be one greastest mum of all time and that is mine, LOVE YA MUM!
Back onto Brendo's bogus adventure around Brazil! Left the magic of Iguazu behind and have headed into the jungle of the Pantanal! Now why go here and not the Amazon you ask?

This was an amazin trip, took us 21 hours on a bus from Rio to get here but was worth it. Our group were amazingm had such good fun, slept in hammocks, surrounded by wildlife, went out trekking through the wetlands every day looking to spot some of the wildlife. Had some fun with the alligators, went fishing for piranah, went horse riding in the open plains, it was just brilliant. We had showers in wooden huts, no electricity, had frogs and other "things" for company in the make-shift showers…

Every morning, I would get up at 7:00 am (which felt like 6:00… thanks time zones!), and go for a jog on the beach. I love running barefoot on the sand (even though I have those recommended athletic sneakers). The last four days I´ve spent in the Pantanal, a wetlands (although now it´s mostly dry like the savannah) region in central Brazil.
It was a four day and three night package, leaving from Campo Grande about 2 hours after I arrived there on Tuesday morning. Luckily they gave me a room to change in at the hostel before departure.
