One month in New Zealand - two weeks on each island. Fantastic nature!!! Kayaking, paragliding, bungy jumping, Christmas... and much, much more. This is absolutely one of the most beautiful places I've ever been! I have to go back.. and back.. and back, and back..

Boxing Day was also Natalie's birthday so it was a nice celebration. We also went on a nice walk. The Peach's are a cool bunch.

Die gestrige Entscheidung, beim Nevins Lookout am Forgotten World Highway zu übernachten, hat sich als richtig herausgestellt. Als wir kurz nach sechs Uhr morgens aus dem Fenster gesehen haben, haben wir ganz ungewohnt die Wolken unter uns statt über uns erblickt. Die Täler rundherum waren mit tiefhängenden Wolken erfüllt. Natürlich sind wir nocheinmal auf den Gipfel hinaufgegangen, von der Straße über eine Wiese nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Gegen sieben Uhr schließlich ist die Sonne…

Finding Victoria. Many countries across the globe have honoured Her Majesty Queen Victoria and the Commonwealth. On my travels I will keep my eye out for various namesakes.
