Matahari Bungalow Hotel Bali - Reviews - Bali

Apart from the bathroom (which was quite bad, toilet barely flushed and tub was peeling), the place was actually quite nice. The room I stayed in was spacious and I liked the walls that were weaved from some sort of leaves, kinda like a village house. The pool looks okay but I didn't get to go in. I love the surroundings, they really took really great care of it with garden, pond and statues for prayers and green grass all over the ground. Breakfast was okay, continental with fried something (noodles or rice) and toast, jam and butter.

The service was great and staffs were friendly. On the final day we were there, they kept our bags for us after we checked out. And after we went around Kuta Beach (within walking distance, in fact all around the hotel was shopping places, tatoo shops, restaurants and pubs) before going to the airport, they let us use their bathroom to take a shower. We were really grateful and I personally liked it there. If they have great bathroom, I would have give this place great ratings!
