Mastapa Garden Hotel Bali

Me and my 2 other friends stayed at the Mastapa Garden for 3 nights last May. This hotel is walking distance to Kuta Beach. Despite being located in Jalan Legian, the hotel provides a very quiet and peaceful ambiance. Rooms are set around a courtyard garden complete with a small pool and a red bridge on a small pond. There were animals too, including rabbits running around the grounds.
Our USD$36 room was old yet clean, spacious, simply furnished, with a private balcony/patio. The air conditioning worked and the bathroom, although in need of moderization and some repair functioned fine.
Breakfast downstairs was a choice of either American, Indonesian or Continental. WiFi internet access was free too which was a bonus.
The hotel is old and needs some renovation but you get what you pay for. Would consider staying there again when in Bali.
