Marysville Vacation Guide

Marysville is a growing place. With a population of over 45,000 it is becoming a decent place for shopping. It is only seven miles north of Everett and 45 miles north of Seattle. It is a great location for access to Seattle sightseeing with out the larger expense of Seattle hotel costs.

There is a large outlet mall right off of I-5 (take the 81st Street exit). Next to the mall is the large Quilceda Casino, and newly opened Quilceda hotel, spa and resort. There is an area near the Casino which has plenty of RV parking for over nighters.

Jennings Park near downtown Marysville is a fun place to go (especially in the spring and summer) if you have children. You can feed the ducks, walk thru a small petting zoo, follow the trails around the creek and ponds, walk the arboretum and gardens, picnic or utilize the baseball field.

Marysville is not much of a tourist spot but is a beautiful place with it's views of Mt. Pilchuck, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. It also has a small marina, water front park and boat launches.

You also may want to check out the indian reservation. If you are into fire works, you might want to check out "Boom City". It is not to far from the Quilceda Casino and resort on the indian reservation. Between the middle of June until the 4th of July it has one of the largest (over 500) concentration of fireworks booths in the north west.
