A good option Aug 20, 2009
I chose this place for the following reasons:
1. The price. It was only $75 a night. 2. Location. It was on the nice Simpson Bay beach and close to SXM and Maho Beach. So, How was it? Well, not bad. I would stay again. It is low season, which is why the rate was so low. The high rate for my room(104) is $135. A beachfront room is anywhere from $135 to $425. What I liked. The beach was a nice place for swimming and sunning. The Staff were all wonderful! It was quiet. well, except for the airport, but I love jet noise!!! What I did not like. There is nothing around the resort. You have to get a taxi to town or eat on the resort, which is expensive. Like I said, I would stay here again and hope to.
