I traveled to the Baltimore area, including Washington DC. The main point of my this trip was to visit my brother and his new wife; but I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed these places.

Alright so Ive got 5 days left before Im off to Argentina to start this adventure. Inshallah good times await in the up comming months. I just decided I should have a convenient way of communicating with everyone back home without having to open up a bunch of stuff online. Anyways this message is basically pointless, its just a way of starting this thing off, and making sure I know how to use it. Hopefully my next post will be from Buenos Aires around the 4-5-6 of February when I get there. U…

My life as a flight attendant -- as of right now it's just an itinerary of where I've been but I may add some places to go, sites to see, and all that soon. = )

This is my third trip to LA's Weirdest Biathlon. What is LA's Weirdest Biathlon, you ask? A good question: it's a combination of an ethics presentation and a 5k road race! We won the biathlon again and came in runner-up for the Ethics prize.

After resting in the hostel in DC, I would take the 1-hour train ride to Baltimore, to attend a baseball game at Oriole Park in Camden Yards.
This is the first time that I've actually done something in the city of Baltimore. I've only stopped by this city, whenever the Greyhound bus makes a layover, to/from DC. It never really crossed my mind to visit, until I decided to visit every baseball stadium in Major League Baseball. Plus I have heard nothing but rave reviews about Camden Yards, the…

I left D.C. with mixed feelings about the city from my brief visit.
While being around Capital Hill and Georgetown was really neat and a
terrific experience, much of the city was pretty sketchy. One thing
that remained consistent regardless of what area I was in, the traffic
made me want to commit vehicular homicide. I’m sure if you knew the
area better and were could use the Metro to get around it would have
been much better, but D.C. is certainly not a tourist friendly city. On

Baltimore, been there alot. Couldn't stay at my favorite Rennisance Harbor Place hotel, tighter budget with this company. However I did get a steal of a deal at the Peabody downtown which was actually a much nicer room, just a bit farther from the action of the inner harbor. Pretty un-eventful trip but as usual, spent the evenings downtown/inner harbor.

So there we are sitting in BWI airport waiting for our plane to get the hell out of America. All of us long-time pals going out for a last hurrah before I left for the Marine Corps and everyone else went off to college. Waiting for the plane took forever. The flight took even longer!
