Saint Michaels is a quaint historic village on the Chesapeake Bay. Known by historians for outwitting the British during a failed invasion, Saint Michaels is best known by locals and visitors and a great place to shop, relax and eat. Ah Baltimore... a city trying very hard to break free of it's imagine on tv shows like Homicide or The Wire. Well worth a weekend visit with some very quirky neighborhoods and a redeveloped inner harbor. Best to visit with someone who knows the city, it's real charm is in the quirky neighborhoods that are beyond the touristy inner harbor.

Funny how we can underestimate just how much longer it will take to do something as banal as cleaning. Because life is a trip, I'm chronicling the whole thing here. In a year where I've traveled to 18 great American cities, it's about time to show you where I've been! I just got a new camera, so from here on you'll be able to see where I went.

I went to Brazil but I didn't keep a detailed journal like I did for Peru. Brazil was goddamn awesome. I would go there again in a heartbeat, and if they end up hosting the world cup in 2014 I will try my ass off to go back.
