Explorer Bartholomew Gosnold is the first European known to have visited Martha's Vineyard in 1602 and named the island for his daughter Martha. The island is 25 miles long and 10 miles wide, has less than 15000 a year-round population (which swells to 5 times that in the summer) The island, simply called "The Vineyard" by locals, offers a geological diversity that surpasses any other areas in the region. Human landscape includes farmers, fisherman, celebrities and distinguished statesmen.

As the Company Sales Representative, it was my duty to support our outside sales people and distributors’ sales reps. The Sales Manager of my company sent me on a ride-along with one of them in Martha’s Vineyard. After taking the ferry back, we visit one last store in Cape Cod as well. I didn’t write about the trip, but do have a few pictures to post. It was a beautiful island and a fun day.
