A must go place if you are in Marseille.The place is lovely with lots to see.The view of Marseille from the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde is wonderful.The best way is a local tourist train that looks like a little steam train from the old port.It is quite steep if you want to walk.

I went to the Stadium recently from a Cruise ship.The stade Vellodrome is well worth a visit & only 10 Min's outside Marseille in a taxi.The taxi cost 30 Euros return which included a 20 min waiting time for us to have a look round.
