Marsa Alam is a small town situated at the Red Sea Coast of Egypt. The town itself is quite small but the dessert-like area around it is a little bigger and it also belongs to the area of Marsa Alam. There aren't a lot of tourist facilities yet because the area is relatively new to tourism. That will change in the future because all the land at the coast has already been sold and wil probably be filled with resorts and hotels pretty soon. The nicest thing about Marsa Alam are the great reefs wich are perfect for snorkling and diving. Because it's quite new to tourism the reefs are in good shape and the underwater life is just amazing.
