Marriott Village d'Ile-de-France Bailly-Romainvilliers Reviews
Marriott Village d'Ile-de-France Jul 26, 2013
Marriot’s Village at Bailly-Romanville in France was a super luxurious hotel. We stayed in a 4 room villa. It’s complete with cooking and laundry amenities. The rooms are super beautiful, and outside view was gorgeous. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed with. The wifi was fast and free.
There is a store inside the hotel where you can get basic things you need for your stay. They also have swimming pool, sauna and Jacuzzi My experience was simply great. Was it expensive? I say very. Is it worth it? Very again. ![]() ![]()

Nice suburb of France. Large and comfortable - in true Marriott style Jan 18, 2009
Marriott Ile De France is in a lovely suburb of Paris. Not the easiest place to get to..
Ok, check it out - this is one of the loveliest places you could ever hope to rest. Problem is that it's pretty far outside of Paris. Takes about an hour to get to, between the RER A and the 34 bus. (Many reviews refer to a 57 bus but I have NOT seen this bus at the resort as of Jan 09.) Keep in mind the RER A stops running back from Paris at 12:40am last check, so no clubbing for those of us staying here =( Aside from that, its comfortable, conveniently located next to a nice village with a grocery store (supermarche) and lovely restaurants (Indian, Italian and a Creperie) - all excellent quality. On premise there is a bar, pool, and a market where you can also rent DVDs. The big plus here is that it's very spacious by European standards. One room has a huge queen that can fit 3 people if you squeeze. The other room is 2 twin beds put together. Downstairs there is a full size pull out couch and linens are included with everything. There are also 2 full baths plus another half bath downstairs. No fireplace but there are heaters plus a small radiator you can drag out of the closet. A washer/dryer is also included in the unit. There is tidy service everyday - they will throw out your trash, make your beds and replenish things like towel and tissue paper (when they remember). There is also a nice patio area that looks out over a grassy area. The front desk is very helpful and will help you with tickets, maps, schedules and taxis. They are there 24 hours. ![]() ![]()

We stayed here right after it opened (2005) because I got a great deal through my Marriot Rewards Program. (87 Euros/night was the internet quote.) I reserved the hotel under this rate but when we arrived, the management did not want to honor the rate, saying it had been a mistake made on the internet. I had the printout from the internet, (thank god!) so after much arguing and negotiating, they did honor a rate at 99 Euros. They were not happy to give us this rate. The rooms were fantastic (huge condo like place with full kitchen and 2 1/2 baths, 2 bedrooms) and the amenities too. The location was terrific because it was so centrally located. I would definitely go back if the dollar/euro exchange rate improves. This is a perfect place for a family with small children or a reunion.
