Travbuddy Hotel May 20, 2008
This place I stumbled upon, during the LA Travbuddy meet-up. We were searching for a place to have our meet-up due to the original place that we wanted to have it was too small and too crowded. Thank goodness, I had enough sense in my head to think of the hotels on the Marina strip. Wasn't there a hotel close to the Baja Cantina that we were going to. Shouldn't there be a lobby with a bar? Maybe, possibly a club to party at.
Cool, it was one block east of the Baja Cantina - so we headed out that way and I prayed that there was a lobby with a bar. At least we wouldn't be cold and at least we may have a bar! My prayers were answered...there was a GREAT lobby and a great bar as well as a wonderful outdoor lounge bar club - type place with great ambience and cool lounge music. The service was great, the waitresses were helpful and the prices were EXPENSIVE!!!!! But the place was a perfect place to have our travbuddy meet-up! Whoo-hoo!!! One hell of a GOOD time!
