Close to train station Nov 24, 2008
This was my third stay at the Marriott. It's really close to the train station and the Millenium Stadium, so it's really convenient.
It's not the cheapest hotel in Cardiff, but everything is clean and all the necessary items are present to make for a relaxing stay. They have a new "French-style" restaurant, which produces some tasty concoctions. Breakfast is a comprehensive buffet, or you can order something from the menu. My bedroom had a safe, wardrobe, mini-bar, TV with movies, CAT-5 network point (iBahn) and coffee making tools. The bathroom was clean and provided with soaps and moisturisers etc. My only problem is that the bed was too soft - I like a hard bed, but I finally managed to get some good rest. Ok, at £119 a night with breakfast included - it's not cheap.
