I stayed in this hotel for just short of a week in 2002, and it was a great experience. This hotel doesn't look so special from the outside, but wait until you walk in.
The lobby is stunning, and a great welcome. The rooms are lovely, and the hotel is laid out in such a way, that every single room has it's own private balcony onto the Danube River, which is fantastic! I spent a lot of time on mine, looking across at Gellert Hill, and watching the boats go by. At night, the buildings across from my window glowed when they were lit up, and it was just so beautiful.
The bathroom was very nicely done as well.
There were little touches I enjoyed as well, every day they left little notes of what the tempature and weather were supposed to be that day, so you could plan how to dress for your day out, and they were very helpful and friendly.
