A beach completely unspoilt by commercialisation Aug 23, 2008
This stunning beach sits well away from the road, accessed by a short track from a small car park or by the coastal path. There are no real facilities here, though the beach is generally quite quiet except at the height of the tourist season. Great slabs of rocks stand vertical in the sand, buffetted by the cold sea. The beach sometime gets good surf waves. Rock pools and stone arches make it a great place to have a mini-adventure by the sea again, climbing on the rocks and dipping for monsters in the pools between. Be warned however, the tide comes in quite fast and there is no promenade to save you so make sure you keep an eye on the sea and the way back up to the car park! Dogs are allowed on the beach.

In my opinion, its the craggy sort of place to really be with yourself and your thoughts.
