Maritime Museum Malacca may be hmmmm Dec 08, 2012
The Maritime Museum in Malacca is just beside the fort A famouso and can be reached by walk.It is housed in a Ship of the 15 th century and that is quite an interesting idea.Entering it I got to look at the tall masts, cabin the three floor deck, captains chambers and all all that you would want to see in a Ship belonging to the glorious period when man sailed around the world to learn that it was round and not flat.It had replicas of sailors and ships of various countries which came into Malacca and is quite a draw for the children from school who flock into the museum on their study tour. The Museum is one of the places earmarked in the Malacca's tour programmes and I suggest that one better make a visit, for whatever it is worth.

It looked impressive from the outside. We didn't go in because we found the entrance fee too high.
