I was having a quick stay in Hannover and wanted a hotel situated in the city centre and the choice fell on Maritim Grand Hotel. The hotel was a quite huge hotel with a pretty boring façade, but when you entered it was not as bad as it gave as a first impression.
The room was a good standard size and it had everything that one could expect of a 4 star hotel. The bed was also rather nice, which sometimes is the problem. I had a room with a view towards the street on the 4th floor but did not hear anything from the traffic. The hotel had a spa and a wellness centre which I had no time to use. The lobby area and the bar were cosy and relaxing. Underneath the hotel there was a public parking charging only 16 euro per24 hours. It was a good hotel price, quality wise.  Part of the Belgium, Brussels and more 2006-2009 and still counting travel blog Part of the list Hotels that I for one or another reason stumbled in to.
