Great market food Jun 13, 2009

Most people would be scared to try a food stand in market. I was too but decided to throw precaution away and tried the ceviche from La Ribera. The fish was really fresh and one could tell that the onions, lime, and seasonings had just been mixed.

Federico tried the fried yuca which he described as the best yuca he had ever tried. It also taste fresh, right out of the frier.

We picked La Ribera because it was one of the few resturants that was packed with nationals...that is always a good sign in the cuisine world.

I highly suggested to anyone interested in trying to something new and different.
