The best Mexican food in Santa Moinca area Sep 08, 2009
Mariscos was, and still, my favorite place for a bite in Santa Monica area, and all the West side when I come to think of it.
I used to ride my bike for 4 miles just to get their Casadilla. If you're backpacking in CA, and wanna try some simple, fresh and down to earth Mexican food - that's the right place, and to witness its quality, there's always people waiting in line to get their burrito, or whatever, during any given time of the day. Businessmen, plumbers, doctors, they all stop by, some in their fancy cars and suits, and get their lunch here. That's the small "snack-street-smart-place" of Santa Monica, and you MUST give it try if you're around.
