Delicious Fresh Authentic Italian May 22, 2014
My mother took me to lunch here yesterday and I was blown away by the freshness of the food. We shared a pasta and pizza as well as a bottle of wine and a desert.

The prices range from under $20 to $25 for pizza or past and around $35 for a bottle of wine.

The pasta we had was a saffron linguine with chilli prawns. The pasta was so light and fresh and the prawns were so full of flavour. The dish was seasoned with salt & pepper, chilli, fresh copped tomato and olive oil. No heavy sauce which was great and the chilli was not overbearing.

The pizza we had was proscitto, bocconcinni and rocket. Again the ingredients were so fresh and the pizza base was not too thick.

We shared a beautiful crisp bottle of sav blanc with it and finished off with a vanilla panacotta which again was fresh and light. The service was good too, the staff asked if we wanted extra ice in the ice bucket to keep our wine nice and cold. They were present but not harrassing. The atmosphere was also lovely, we sat out on the balcony in the sun.

Overall we had a beautiful meal and a lovely time.
