 Bets sandwich in Hungary! Aug 29, 2009
After living in Budapest for 5 years I can honestly say that this is the ONLY good sandwich you can hope for there. Unlike the typical hungarian sandwich the bread is freshly bakes rye , not just some of that strange loafy thing they call bread here. I`ll be willing to starve for a long time ,or go a very long distance to get to Marie Christensen to get my food. I ate there every single day for months during the exam periods. If you go here be sure to try the "Norwegian student" with tuna paste, bacon, tomato+salad and thick slices of camember....absolutly beautiful and for less then 4€. As a bonus the staff and the service is actually really good (untypical in this city).
