Maria's Travel Reviews

I stumbled upon Maria's in a strip mall outside of Sedona. I love weird food, so I was really excited when I opened the menu and saw that they served rattlesnake. I was tempted to get the fried cactus appetizer as well, but I ended up getting the Sedona wrap instead.
The rattlesnake was actually really tasty, but rather meagre, as I guess snakes don't actually have a lot of meat on their bodies. The Sedona wrap was pretty "meh" -- chicken, spinach, some sort of dressing. Shrug. The restuarant itself is pretty unremarkable as well. It's standard strip mall dining with decent service and prices that are a little high for a place that's kind of a hole in the wall. Menu selections include basic Mexican (burritos, enchiladas) and American (fried appetizers, wraps) fare. Whatever, they have fricken rattlesnake.
