Maria Mare Studios

The location of this hotel quite simply couldn't be better. It is in Argassi, which is a peaceful town during the day and a bustling town at night, with many good clubs and bars. It is also only a short taxi ride to Laganas, which has yet more clubs and a large beach. The hotel is on the edge of Argassi, so the music doesn't keep you up at night, but the town centre is literally only a few minutes walk away so you don't feel isolated. There is a restaurant and supermarket directly across the road called the Green Frog, which serves food at meal times and sells all essentials. The hotel is right on the coast, and the views of the sea from the balcony are simply breathtaking. The pool is lovely, and very well maintained: cleaned and tidied every night. The rooms are basic, but contain all the essentials you may need. There is a kitchen, with an electric hob and various items including pans, cutlery and plates. The staff were all friendly: in particular the maids, with whom we had some interesting conversations. They cleaned the room more frequently than advertised, and even did our dishes which was really nice! >.< Overall this is a fantastic hotel for the money, suitable for young adults, couples and families. There are many attractions for the children, including banana boating, mini-golf, go-karting and seperate paddling pools.
