Nutritious food with a fun service format May 14, 2011
This is a new restaurant - part of the Swiss Movenpick chain that operates hotels, resorts and restaurants in Europe and around the world. Marche has a different approach based on their commitment to provide fresh, nutritious food locally-sourced and cooked in full view of the customers. There are a number of food preparation stations salads: and fresh vegetables, pastas, desserts and drinks, grill and rotisserie. Customers are given a magnetic card as they enter and can choose the food they want at any of the stations. The cost is charged to their card and they pay at the exit. I had pork chops with roasted potatoes, coffee and dessert for about CAD$22.00. An excellent restaurant with a customer, supplier, planet-friendly philosophy and an interesting format
