On May 24th, 2008, I embarked on an amazing journey to Africa with an organization called Prints Of Hope. The mission: build two churches and dress 2000 children in the Maputo, the capital of Mozambique. These pictures show a glimpse of my experience during this awesome project.

I have some snaps of the portuguese colonial city - Maputo and exotic snapshots of Pemba in Mozambique. Pemba is a paradise on earth along the northern coast of Mozambique where you can see the waters in blue and green. The snaps of Pemba were taken from the aircraft Jetstreamer J29 I was travelling to Tanzania.

My friend and I drove from Johannesburg through beautiful Mpumalanga before crossing into Mozambique. We spent five days in Maputo moving to the sounds of African beats, dining on phenomenal peri-peri prawns, seeing places, meeting delightful people and drinking local beer. Needless to say, the trip was well worth it and an absolute blast.
