cheap, good food Jul 02, 2008
Despite the kitschy (and potentially offensive) name, this is actually one of the best food values for your money. The dishes are tasty and the portions are huge. We ordered the Coconut Curry chicken and the Orange Ginger beef, and both were good and easily shared among three hungry guys. There is even a $1 salad. You get what you pay for, but at least the option is there to eat some healthy food for fairly cheaply.

Seating is almost cafeteria style, along big wooden tables. They don't serve alcohol, but you can bring your own beer. A casual yet somewhat trendy scene.

LOL Eric the name definitely made me do a double take but sounds like it's worth the trip! I'm headed to LA next weekend so I'll keep this in mind...I'm a big fan of Coconut Curry chicken (I've perfected my own version of this at home) so I'll be interested in tasting this. Hope all is well :)
