Mansfield, Ohio is conveniently located in the north central part of Ohio. Located about 80 miles southwest of Cleveland and 65 miles north of Columbus, you can easily access the city on I-71 or US Route 30.

Primarily a manufacturing town, Mansfield has played a part in the movies. Partially filmed on location at the old Mansfield Reformatory are the following movies: The Shawshank Redemption, Air Force One, and Tango and Cash.

Some tourist centers in and around the city include Kingwood Center (a garden estate), Mansfield Motorsports Park, nearby Mid Ohio Raceway, Malabar Farms, Snow Trails Ski Area, The Mansfield Renaissance Theatre, and the Mansfield Arts Center.

Educational opportunites abound in this area as The Ohio State University operates a branch in Mansfield, and North Central State College shares facilities with Ohio State. MedCentral College of Nursing is a private institution offering programs in nursing.

Richland Carousel Park is home to the first hand carved indoor wooden carousel to be built and operated in the US.
