Manly Beach Reviews
Great beach with plenty of room for relaxing and surfing May 20, 2009
Manly is very easy to get to from Sydney CBD. Just catch the ferry to see some wonderful sights on the way and after a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal you are on the beach!
It stretches quite far which means you tend to have more space to lie on the beach compared to the Eastern Suburb beaches like Bondi. If you want to learn how to surf this is an awesome beach to do so. You can also just rent a board on the beach. Dripping Wet is just one of the places were you can hire a board. If you are visiting Sydney, a ferry trip to have a nice relaxing day on Manly beach should definitely be part of your itinerary. |

Manly Beach is by far the better of Sydney's famous beaches. Compared to its counter part Bondi it is bigger, much nicer to get to, and far less crowded. If coming from Sydney head to Circular Quay and hope on the Manly Ferry or Jet Cat (For faster ride, although the ferry ride is half the fun). The ferry drops you and Manly Wharf, from there enjoy restuarants and shopping on your way through the Corso and to the large sandy beach. For best places to grab a drink before heading back on the ferry stop at Wharf Bar right on the wharf, one of Sydneys best bars.
