Here you can join us on our motorcykle tour from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego (south america). We start our journey May 27, 2006 and we will be on the road for about a year!

I don't think I'll be updating this blog as often as I was able to update our last trip. It just takes too much time to try and track down an internet cafe 4-5 times a week. I'll try and update once or twice weekly as I find the time.
We leave in about a week, and although i'm excited, I'm much more relaxed about our trip this time than last time. I'm taking that as a good thing. We're only bringing carry-on bags this trip, which should make things interesting. ...

For starters I should explain that I met Lori while racing through Europe on my Contiki tour. We ran through florence, rome, venice, Munich, and amsterdam together, and she we only slow down occasionally, when I couldn't keep up, to call me a girl and motivate me to go faster. This is one of my trips to the states,I like to go shopping their because everything is way cheaper than it is here! also went to the Peace Gardens.Apparently the International Peace Gardens are in the middle of the usa,and canada.

The Mennonite Heritage Village had been anticipated from the start. For some reason, we knew it was going to be great. We had talked to the people who worked there. "You could spend all day here! We have a restaurant!" They had a restaurant. Our sightseeing in Winnipeg went a little longer than expected (even while cutting the Manitoba Museum short unfortunately) so we arrived at the heritage village in Steinbach with only an hour to explore. The woman at the desk was nice enough to let us in...

The journey begins. Kim and the boys drove me to the airport around 11:30 this morning after a morning spent packing, finishing laundry, and generally feeling a bit sad about having to go away for a week. I'm excited to see Seoul again. But it is very hard to leave the boys and Kim behind, especially on such a beautiful Spring day as I flew away from.Onboard Korean Air's excellent airplane, I watched a fun S.Korean movie, title translates as "The Beast and The Beauty." 32 states in the US and 8 in Canada. Travelled Canada and the USA from coast to coast within five months. Travelled mostly by train, sometimes by coach. In total 33.000 km (20.000 miles). Started and ended in Toronto. Some other highlights: Montreal, Quebec, New York, Philadelpia, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, El Paso, LA, San Fran, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Vancouver, Jasper. Experienced temperatures varying from minus 25 degrees Celsius to +30 degrees Celsius.
Only shot 6000 pictures.
