It's been awhile since I visited Manila and this time I was really anxious to be there again. I really wanted to visit my Granny (she's 88 yrs old) and my big bro, and of course have a taste of local foods. I only spent 5 days, but boy was it fun, especially the long distance travel from Manila to Nueva Ecija; stopping at some eatery places by the side of the streets, and of course mingling with the locals and telling each other some good old folklores. Yes, 5 days and it was worth it.

It was 4:30am when the bus rolled into the station in Manila, and from there we brought our sleepy and tired selves home. With only 2 hours of sleep, it was back to reality, and back to work for me :P

While waiting for my hubby's visa extension approval, we went to visit Fort Santiago. Just a few minutes walk from Bureau of Immigration, and along the way you can also see one of the beautiful mini-Basilica in Manila ~ Manila Cathedral. I just love its architecture.
