Manila Hotel Reviews
the queen of hotels :) May 20, 2008
Manila Hotel is the queen of hotels in the Philippines - known not only because of its grandeur but more because of its significance to Philippine history - the hotel being a silent witness to the many essential events of the country.
Built in 1912, it is almost a 100-year-old and has been home of many of the world's prominent personalities (country presidents, political figures and international movie celebrities). The hotel symbolizes the diverse culture of the country and here you can see Filipinas and Filipinos at their finest :) We had our conference there last February (for the 1st Asian Children Museum's Conference) and the hospitality and service were excellent. I love how the hotel staff looks with their Filipiniana and Barong Tagalog :) Luxurious Amenities Classic, traditional decor with elegant furnishings Individually controlled central air conditioning Remote-control TV with cable channels Fully-stocked minibar International Direct Dialing Separate bath and toilet with extension phone Keycard electronic lock system Secure in-room safe Bedside radio |

This is a great hotel to stay at while in Makati. This was the second time I stayed at this hotel and I was lucky enough to get a suite at the regular price. The staff are friendly and polite and go way beyond in making… Shangri-La Hotel |

Flew into Manilla a fun and busy city with it's own charms and stayed a couple of nights at the rainbow hotel in the Ermita & malate erea. The hotel was nice, clean and well located and very modestly priced. With my Lonely Planet book in hand i filled up my 2 days there with sightseeing, enjoying the street food and getting to know a couple… Philippines |

Am still loving the hotel, although I feel the need to escape from it at every opportunity. I feel like there's so much more outside of this place. Makati City feels so protected. Not how it sounds though. I don't mean that it feels safe, it just… Another Day, Another Drink |
