Mandarin Oriental Prague

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights beginning of August.The service is fantastic and the front desk people knew my name before I even checked in and rememebered me by name throughout my stay.

Everything was perfect in terms of service and facilities,I guess my issue was I was comparing it with the flagship in HK which I shouldnt have done!My only gripe was internet has to be paid for which I guess is a strait in all Manadarin hotels globally.Other than that the food was second to none and the location couldnt be better. From the hotel to Charles Bridge was less than 5mins walk.I was quite surprised how tranquil and quiet the hotel was compared to outside which was pretty busy.If you can afford it,treat yourself and stay here.

I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental in Prague in July, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The hotel is quite small, which means the staff can take the time to pamper individual hotel guests. From the general manager down to the restaurant/lounge staff, everyone was a delight. It has the feel of a small boutique hotel that tailors to discerning travelers.

The bottom line: everything about the hotel is cozy: from the front lobby and restaurant where breakfast is served, to the fitness room with 6 pieces of equipment and the 3 elevators taking guests to 4 floors of rooms - this hotel prides itself on individualized attention. It does mean you could have to wait in a line (albeit a short one) for help on occasion, but adjust your expectations appropriately and you will have a delightful experience.

Misc notes: The spa is in a separate part of the hotel, and they don't have a swimming pool, but being in the Czech republic, there is plenty to enjoy in the city - so leave the hotel and enjoy the sights and sounds of Prague!
