January 3 marked the first ever Travbuddy Meetup in Manila, well, that is as far as we all know (if it isn't, make that first in 2008), attended by eight free-spirited travbuddies who all have one common denominator--- WE ARE ALL CRAZY FOR TRAVELS! Manila TBs had a blast in our first meetup last January 03. But as they say, all great earthquakes come with equally intensified aftershocks. As much as I want to write a lot of things about the recent travbuddy meetup that I attended back in the Philippines last February 7, I think the blogs written by Josh (the_bloodsucker) and Sarj (kickasstunner) will surely be way more comprehensive than mine so I figured it's better to upload all the pictures here so all of you can see how fun it was that night and besides pictures speak a thousand words (+ captions).  It was a great way to start the year of the rat.&nbs...

Since I moved to Singapore in July 2005, I have been going back to the Philippines every 2 or 3 months, except starting in mid last year when due to my trips to other countries, I have not been able to go back to my homeland since July 2007. So for the 4 day long week-end of Singapore (Feb 7 & 8 are public holidays for Chinese new year), I just had to go home to Philippines.  It so happened that Feb 7 was also the date set for another travbuddy meet up in the Philippines ...
