Try something a little different Dec 26, 2009
At first glance, Cafe Mambo is just another typical eatery in Italy. Look a little closer and you will discover something a little more special. Cafe Mambo is actually connected to the Mambo Art Gallery next door. Guests can enjoy a wide range of contemporary artwork whilst relaxing with a cup of coffee or cappuccino.

In the evenings the place transforms itself into a buzzing hub of energy. It is the perfect place to begin an evening before a night on the town or just to sample a very pleasant ambiance. At 7 every night you can try their very tasty aperitivo. Foods on display may include various pasta dishes, cous cous, different meats, pizza and much more. The lay out is a little more upper class that other places in Bologna and is great if you fancy a change from the usual routine.

Sure it is a little pricey, however you can also purchase some delicious cocktails for "dopo cena" (After Dinner). These are normally included in the one price of the meal, i.e, one drink and all you can eat for around 7 or 8 Euros. The location is a bit outside the city centre. It is easy to reach an array of post dinner venues after you leave. A few nightclubs can be found on Don Minzoni itself.

Definitely worth the money for the experience alone!
