This Hostel has a perfect location, just 1minute from the Main square and 5minutes from Wawel, Railway and buss stations.

Worth to Mention
Free Breakfast (Very basic, but its somewhat better on wed)
Free Internet
Discount on Tours to Salt mine and Auschwitz
4 Showers with toilets in them , so there CAN be linup outside of the showers.
Free laundry ,but you need to buy Washing Powder.

Smoking balcony
No drinking after 23.00 at the Hostel, so its not the biggest Party hostel in town, but its quiet and clean.


The thing i didnt like where that we had to change rooms three times in three nights. And its not uncommon according to the other guests.

Great place. They have a seperte lounge and kitchen plus an outide area. propper showers and they are always cleaning.

The people their are by far the best.

The atmosphere in this hostel is great. Located 2 min walk from the main square, you can feel in the middle of the party, though this can be disturbing if u want to have a calm night of sleep.
Great services offered (internet, kitchen use, laundry use, tv, movies, terrace, everything for free), the only inconvenient i found is the cleanliness, but this is comprehensible due to its small size and busy occupation.

Definitely i recommend this hostel. And specially because u feel at home with the staff there. Best hostel I've stayed so far.

After about an hour of walking I finally reached the central square and a while later got a place in the Mama Hostel. It's brilliant, located right next to the square so all the bars are a short walk. Went out drinking and for a georgian dinner with some english people I met in the hostel. We arrived on Friday morning and checked into Mama's Hostel. Which is pretty darn rad. It was right off of the Main Square. We went to see the Castle. It was a huge disappointment. The Polish sure did not know what they were doing when they built this Castle. Half of it had to be rebuilt… Two days in Poland.

Our accommodation for the duration of our stay was Mama's hostel, which was located just off the main square so we had no trouble finding it. After some breakfast at one of the numerous eating establishments on the square, we got some much needed shut eye back at the hostel. Already in love… Day 21 - Djien Dobry!
