A day off and I found myself in George's car driving southwards along the East Coast Road. An area that was hit by the tsunami but according to George wasn't too severely damaged because there weren't many houses build along the shore. In 2000 I started to travel around the EurAzian continent. Not in one vacation ofcourse, there is work waiting for me at home, but in leg of 6 weeks. Every journey is about 3000 km long.

Arriving in Mamallapuram we stepped off the bus and were greeted by the usual chaos. We hadn't had time to reserve any accomodation but it proved not to have been necessary as there were plenty of people shouting at us offering rooms which we took as a good sign.
