 Fun nights out Mar 27, 2009
You have to go here if you are in town for a few nights. Totally mixed crowd, all having a good time dancing to some of the latest dance music and some old school classic dance / rock. No one takes themself too seriously and worth a night or two there. I was in cusco for nearly a month and rarely had a bad night at Mama Africas. Drinks are expensive by peruvian standards but what else would you expect from a Gringo nightclub on the main square

Good Clubs- Mythology, and Mama Africa. Mama Africa is the best. A lot of locals go there and between the two clubs, you're going to meet most of the young crowd staying in the city. Stay away from Uptown Bar. Pretty lame. There will be tons of people… Thoughts and Experiences in Cusco |

In the evening after winning a pub quiz, we met the rest of the group in a nightclub in Cusco called Mama Africa´s. Lots of drinking had been done beofre we got there, but we did our best to catch up and had a good night out there, dancing away to all kinds of tunes. On our 2nd free day we were adventurous and went… Urubamba, Rafting and dancing! |

…hard trekking, we needed a much needed blow out, so on Sunday night, Katie and I hit the town with the guys from LOKI hostel, good fun all the way! we headed out into town after a few drinks at the hostel bar, found a great live music place ('km0') which reminded me of a pub back home. Then it was onto Mama Africa to dance the night away...wahoo!!… Cuzco nights |

Afterwards we headed to Mama Africas which was class. Paul, the Doctor who should be against binge drinking, bought me copious amounts of Tequila and after a bit of dancing the next thing I remember is being carried out by Bend and Paul.

I made my way down to the bar they were in, Mama Africa's, soon after.
On the way down I took a cab, and when I tried to pay with a 10 sole
note the driver said no to it as it had a tiny tear, since repaired
