I really liked spending 2 weeks in Mallorca last summer.

There is a lot more to the Spanish island of Mallorca than just sun, sea & sand and this page shows just a taste of what more the island has to offer. I went in year 2000 again in 2008 when I won a newspaper competition to stay in a rural hotel up in the mountains, away from the main tourist areas. I hope my photos show that it IS still possible to escape the crowds!

Back again at my favourite place Mallorca. I recomend everyone to visit Mallorca, because it's a nice Island near Spain. I like the people and the food everything is nice over there. Just see for yourself.

I flew in to Mallorca on the 8th, where I was whisked off to my friend Paul's house in Port d'Andratx. Paul and I are high school friends, and we met again when I moved into NYC. He spends Augusts in Mallorca, and I was happy to accept his invitation to come and visit him on the island.

I had to be a sunny vacation. Unfortunatly a lot of rain and storm.

Only 7 members of our club were able to come on this trip because we were using the appartment our coach has there. So I felt very lucky to be one of the few who got in early and managed to get a place. That was mainly because of karate though, less because of the place. This is the trip I took in October of 2007. I went to Italy, Tunisia, Spain, France, and Greece. It was an amazing trip.
