There is a lot more to the Spanish island of Mallorca than just sun, sea & sand and this page shows just a taste of what more the island has to offer.
I went in year 2000 again in 2008 when I won a newspaper competition to stay in a rural hotel up in the mountains, away from the main tourist areas.
I hope my photos show that it IS still possible to escape the crowds!
