Malibu Ezaharra Reviews
yummy Chawarma Oct 01, 2009
I love Chawarma, especially libanaise style. So I have on the hunt to find the best over the last 4 months. Of all the Chawarma that I have eating here in Tunisia, I pick this restuarant, Malibu to having the best. Chawarma is lamb slowly roasted while slowly rotating. mmmmm. The best way for me to describe Libanaise style...close to a tortilla with ingredients wrapped inside then for a short amount of time grilled like a panini. So Chawarma is slow roasted lamb shaved (when ordered) and placed with sauce, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage/lettuce mix, onions and shredded carrots. All wrapped in libanaise and grilled to perfection. Abosolutely delicious. Chawarma libanaise style, fries and a coke will cost you about 2.5 dinar. Thats about $3. And the sandwhich is huge. (pic to come)
Although I have carried on about Chawarma the menu is quite extensive with the most expesive item being about 6 dinar($8) and consist of a grilled platter with different meats.(beef, chicken and lamb) There is pizza, pasta, salads, other sandwhiches(different styles) and of course vegetarian dishes. My hubbies favorite here is the Kebab libanaise style.
Along with the food the atmosphere and decor are very nice and colorful. You can choose from outdoor or indoor seating. There is plenty of staff to accomadate your every need. Great food, great price and great atmosphere = a very nice and enjoyable meal.
