Malham Overview

Between Skipton and Settle to the right is one of the most attractive villages in the Yorkshire Dales, Malham. Whether or not you get there by car, it is worth calling in at the National Park Information Centre at the car park. There is no church here, the church being in Kirkby Malham.

Malham is known for four sights;
Malham Cove is the scene of a prehistoric waterfall and the huge limestone cliffs are used by climbers.
Gordale Scar still has its waterfall, as you will surely notice when you scale up. Limestone again and the general feature is almost a ravine.
Janet's Foss is a pretty waterfall - not very large but wel worth finding.
Malham Tarn is a small lake above the village.
